Launched in\u00a02009<\/strong>\u00a0by the\u00a0University Centre for International Solidarity<\/strong>\u00a0(CeSI) of Universit\u00e0 Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, so far the Charity Work Program <\/strong>has promoted 274 scholarships of 3-8 weeks aimed at students from all of the university\u2019s faculties, offering them the\u00a0chance of a volunteering experience at NGOs and missions all over the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Italia Uganda Foundation non-profit organisation is a historic partner of Universit\u00e0 Cattolica with regard to the Charity Work Program\u00a0at the Benedict Medical Centre<\/strong>,\u00a0which has been welcoming Medicine students from Universit\u00e0 Cattolica of Rome since 2009.<\/p>\n

In\u00a02017<\/strong>, the\u00a0Bishop Cipriano Kihangire Nursery and Primary School of Kampala was also included in the Charity Work Program<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Italia Uganda Foundation works in a neighbourhood in the outskirts of Kampala where it offers education, medical care and professional skills<\/strong>. It is actively present in the community and uses its own premises to carry out its projects, with no intermediaries or activities delegated to third parties. This enables it to guarantee transparency throughout the process and to maximise its impact in terms of the efficiency and effectiveness of the projects it carries out together with its partners.<\/strong><\/p>\n
